Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and only ever ask for the information we genuinely need to give you a quote and carry out your cleaning work. This page explains how we handle it, in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025).

The information we collect

Depending on how you get in touch, we may collect:

• Enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us in your message when you use our enquiry form, email us, or call.
• Job details — the address of the property to be cleaned and notes about the work, so we can quote and complete it.
• Photographs — before/after and survey photos of the areas we clean (including drone survey images), used to inspect the property, plan and complete your job. See “Drone surveys” below.
• Website usage — if you agree, anonymous statistics about how the site is used (see “Cookies, analytics & advertising”).

We do not ask for or store card or bank details through this website, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
• To carry out the cleaning work and manage the job — to perform our contract with you.
• To keep proper business records (e.g. invoices) — to meet our legal obligations.
• For website analytics and advertising — only where you have given your consent through our cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies, analytics & advertising

Our site uses one essential cookie to remember your cookie choice — this is always on and can’t be switched off. Everything else is optional and off until you turn it on:

• Statistics — Google Analytics counts how many people visit and which pages they view, as anonymous usage data. It only loads if you accept or switch Statistics on.
• Marketing — advertising tools such as the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Google Ads let us measure our adverts and show them to people who have visited our site. These only load if you switch Marketing on — never if you reject.

Drone surveys

For some exterior work we fly a small drone to survey roofs, gutters and hard-to-reach areas. The drone is only ever flown with your consent, and any photos are used solely to inspect and complete your job — stored securely, never sold or shared for marketing, and deleted on request.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as needed:

• Our website and enquiry-form host (Netlify) and email provider (Zoho Mail), so we can receive and reply to your messages.
• Analytics and advertising providers (Google, and — if you consent to marketing — Meta), as described above.

We may also disclose information if the law requires us to. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

Keeping your information secure

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your information safe. Our website runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, your enquiry is handled through reputable providers, and access to your details is limited to those who need it to deal with your enquiry or job. We don’t take card or bank details through this website. No system can ever be completely risk-free, but we work to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and job information only for as long as we need it — typically while we’re dealing with your enquiry or job, and afterwards for a reasonable period to handle any follow-up, warranty or query. Where records relate to tax and accounting (for example invoices and payment records), we keep them for 7 years to meet our legal obligations to HMRC. Survey and job photos are deleted on request.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• be told how we use your information (which is what this notice is for);
• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that’s wrong, or complete anything that’s missing;
• ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
• ask us to provide the details you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format;
• object to us using it, and withdraw any consent you’ve given (for example for cookies) at any time.

We don’t carry out any automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. To exercise any of these rights, just contact us using the details below.
