A large detached house in Bootle where moss kept dropping off the roof into a beautifully kept garden. Cleaned from a tower scaffold, working around the solar panel.
The owners of this large detached house in Bootle didn't call us about how the roof looked. They called because of the garden.
Moss had built up along the tile courses, and it kept working loose and dropping. They kept a beautiful garden, and every time they cleared it up there was more down a few days later. That was what they'd had enough of.
There's a solar panel set into the front slope, so the panel and the tiles around it were worked around carefully. We clean roofs with panels regularly — it just means planning the approach rather than avoiding the area.
The whole roof was washed with a rotary cleaning head on a telescopic pole, worked off a tower scaffold. The two drone shots at the top of this page are the same roof, taken before we started and again once we'd finished.
Every roof job starts with a drone survey so the whole roof and gutter line can be checked from above and the job planned properly. Gutters, fascias and soffits are cleaned at the same time at no extra cost, and the biocide treatment carries a two-year no-regrowth guarantee.
We cover Bootle and the surrounding Merseyside area. Fully insured, and we come out in person to look at every job.
